The Stress, Trauma, Anxiety, and Resilience Society (STAR Society) is a multidisciplinary, international organization of researchers and practitioners from more than 35 countries, who share an interest in research findings and clinical applications on stress and anxiety-related phenomena.

STAR Membership and Renewal
Attention: Due to technical issues, the registration form (below) was deactivated and applying for membership only works via email. If you are interested in becoming a STAR member, please write an email to membership@star-society.org and include
- your full name
- the email address you want to receive any communication with STAR
- your full mailing address (street & number, zip/postal code, city and state where you live )
- areas of research interest
- your university and position.
Annual membership dues are €75, annual student membership dues are €40.
The membership fee has to be paid until January 31th or after registration, respectively. The membership automatically renews for the following calendar year.
Please note that in order to cancel your membership, a written or text notice to the Board is required with a notice period of three month to the end of the calendar year. An email to membership@star-society.org is sufficient.
Non-members may participate in the annual STAR conferences, but members register at a greatly reduced rate (about €100 less). Student members must provide proof of their student status within 7 days of web sign-up. A brief email from a faculty member to STAR Treasurer, Christian Heckel, will serve as proof.
Please note that at the moment payment by PayPal or bank transfer is possible. Once you submit this form, the treasurer will send you the account details so that you can arrange the transfer.
